Historic Stratford Landmark Acquired, “Bijou at the Church” Launches
Bijou Restaurant is moving to one of Stratford’s most iconic architectural landmarks. Bijou is moving from 34 Brunswick to the historic church property at 70 Brunswick Street — most recently operating as Revival House — and will undertake a comprehensive aesthetic, hospitality, and culinary revitalization under the new name: Bijou at the Church.
The new identity intentionally honours two deeply respected names within Stratford’s hospitality history: the celebrated “Bijou Restaurant”, which has served guests in Stratford for the past 27 years, and the legendary “Church Restaurant”, long recognized as one of the city’s most memorable dining destinations. Together, the new concept seeks to preserve the building’s remarkable heritage while introducing a refreshed vision for dining, weddings, events, and cultural gatherings in the heart of Stratford.
Due to extensive renovations at our new location, reservations are now available for bookings from July 24, 2026 onward.

When Bijou at the Church officially opens for public dining in mid July, guests can expect the elevated culinary standards and warm hospitality that have defined the Bijou experience for nearly three decades.
The restaurant will feature a locally inspired menu celebrating the agricultural richness of Perth County and Southwestern Ontario, with a strong emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients, refined execution, and approachable casual fine dining.
Complementing the culinary program will be a thoughtfully curated wine and beverage offering. Drawing from an extensive cellar of rare and library wines, the program will also feature a broad and accessible by-the-glass selection designed to appeal equally to theatre patrons, casual diners, wedding guests, and experienced wine enthusiasts.
